Mike grew up in Southern California. As a youth he fell in love with the game of basketball, playing competitively through the collegiate level. He married his wife shortly after college and they relocated to Austin in 2002. He has come to love the Austin area and considers himself a transplant Texan. The Graves’ family has grown over the years. Mike is now the proud parent of two wonderful sons and one alleged goldendoodle.
Mike is a fan of all things sports and competition. He loves board games, road trips, and crossword puzzles. He roots passionately for the Lakers, his Texas Longhorns, and anyone on his fantasy football team. On the weekends you are likely to find Mike coaching his son’s sports teams or showcasing declining basketball skills at a local rec-center. Mike sincerely enjoys his profession and considers himself fortunate to work in a field where he can make a difference in the lives of young people.
